Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run is a program aimed at empowering young girls in grades 3-8. Through a combination of running and interactive lessons, participants learn vital life skills, build self-esteem and foster positive relationships. Over the season they work on completing a celebratory 5K, all while being part of a supportive community.

The Girls on the Run program encourages girls to embrace their uniqueness and develop a passion for staying active. Through a combination of fun lessons and running, our girls learn valuable life skills while building lasting friendships.

Throughout the season, the girls train for a 5K. Training for the race involves setting personal goals and supporting one another, creating a strong sense of camaraderie.

The 5K event marks a significant achievement for our girls. After months of training, they have an opportunity to showcase their hardwork and commitment to fitness and teamwork. The 5K provides them with an opportunity to challenge themselves physically while also allowing them to support one another.

In addition to their running achievements, the girls also volunteered at school events, including the Fall Festival and passing out candy on Halloween. These experiences allowed them to give back to the community.
